Type to hop balloons — catch the flag!
About Sky Kid Typer
Sky Kid Typer is a free online typing adventure for young typists. Type each balloon’s letter (or whole word in Words mode) and the kid leaps out to catch its clamp — his weight pops it open and the balloon gently sinks. Chain 9 balloons, grab the red flag balloon, front-flip off it and stick the landing on the mountain. Balloons land softly and quietly — nobody gets hurt.
Guide How to play
- Pick a sinking speed: Slow, Normal, or Fast. The site Easy / Normal / Hard picker maps straight onto it.
- Choose a Mode above the game: Letters, Letters + Digits, Full Keyboard, or Words — in Words mode type the whole word to jump.
- Type a standing balloon’s letter and the kid leaps to its clamp; the balloon starts sinking with him hanging on.
- Type the next balloon before yours sinks into the grass — a grass landing costs one of 3 lives (Zen mode has infinite lives).
- Catch the red flag balloon, then flip off it onto the mountain to finish — more hops first means a bigger bonus.
💡 Tips to type faster
- Keep typing — every 4 jumps raises the level and balloons sink faster.
- Chain catches without mistakes to build the combo multiplier (up to ×5).
- Golden balloons are worth +40 — prioritize them when two targets compete.
- In Words mode, a 4+ letter word typed in under 2.5 seconds unlocks Lightning Word.
- Zen mode removes lives entirely — perfect for relaxed practice.
